Ultimate Victory

2001. 2005. 2008. 2010. Depending on your tribal affiliation, the aforementioned years mean different things to you. Depending on your tribal affiliation, you will experience the thrill of victory... or not. Depending on your tribal affiliation at Camp Ozark, you wear Caddo red or Osage blue.

In life, there are many things with which we choose to affiliate and being a member of the Caddo tribe or of the Osage tribe at Camp Ozark is just one of them. Though distinguished by tribe, the instillation of the values of tribal competition are not exclusive to one tribe or another. Members of both tribes have the opportunity to display maximum effort, maximum enthusiasm, and true sportsmanship, establishing values that carry beyond the flickerball field and beyond the gates of Camp Ozark, if you let them. From the classroom to the boardroom, these qualities are what, at least in part, set you apart from others. These are qualities that will push you to not settle for a life of mediocrity. These are qualities that help define your character, whether you are affiliated with the victor, or not.

Today is the Ultimate Solution for Staff Orientation. While the winner of this competition will not contribute to the official tally declaring the victor of the summer, only the kids determine that, how the games are played will contribute to each individual's foundation of fundamental "victory" characteristics in life. Oh, and while we are on the subject, do you predict it will be a "red" or a "blue" summer?
