First Is Third Scholarship
Camp Ozark's F.I.T. Scholarship fund provides deserving children from Montgomery County, Arkansas with an opportunity to attend incomparable Camp Ozark that would otherwise not be able to do so.
- Boys or girls ages 8-15 who are residents of Montgomery County, Arkansas and are able to demonstrate financial need and meet required qualifications are eligible to apply for a Camp Ozark scholarship.
- Scholarships may cover part or all of the regular Camp Ozark tuition. A F.I.T. Scholarship does not include transportation to and from camp, personal expenses while at Camp, and a mandatory $20 insurance fee.
FOR SUMMER 2024, THERE ARE A VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF SPECIFICALLY RESERVED SPOTS ALLOTTED FOR THE F.I.T. SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM. THESE RESERVED SPOTS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR
Session H, July 28 - Aug 3
Returner Application Period (for F.I.T. campers who attended Summer 2023) will be open from January 8 - January 26, 2024.
General Application Period will be open from February 5 - March 1, 2024.
To apply for a F.I.T. Scholarship, the following items must be completed:
- Online application *see link at bottom of page
- 2 online reference forms
- One must be completed by applicant's Principal or current year Teacher
- The second may be completed by a Pastor, Principal, Teacher, Organization Group Leader, or Coach who knows the child well and is not related to the child
- Copies of the last two years’ Federal Income Tax Return (From 1040, page 1 only) - Submit via email to [email protected]
In order to be considered for a F.I.T. Scholarship during the General Application Period, all forms, including supporting documents, must be on file in the Camp Ozark office no later than March 1, 2024.
Scholarship offers are not guaranteed. Completed applications do not imply automatic acceptance.
All applicants will be notified via email of all Scholarship Committee decisions beginning mid-March 2024.
Upon receipt of a scholarship, all recipients will be required to complete additional camper enrollment forms (i.e. health form, travel form, etc.) in order to attend Camp Ozark.
Camp Ozark reserves the right to withdraw any scholarship following review by Camp Ozark staff of all additional submitted documentation.
If you are a returning Camp Ozark family, you must use your existing MyOzark account. If you a first-year camp family, you will need to create a MyOzark account to fill out the application.
