Our Traditional Closing Day option is for camper family members who would like to attend our Closing Ceremony in-person and walk around the camp grounds. Attendance at Traditional Closing Day is limited to four camper family members. For more information on the Closing Day Policies please visit the Info Center on you My Ozark dashboard.
Once documents have been verified, families will load shuttle buses into camp. Once in your camper’s designated cabin area you may greet your camper at their cabin, visit the Camp Store, and attend the Closing Day ceremony. At the conclusion of the ceremony, families will load the shuttle buses back to the Satellite Lot. View a map of the Closing Day Ceremony here. Shuttles run continuously throughout Closing Day.
We are looking forward to welcoming you on Closing Day. Express camper pick-up begins Saturday morning in the Satellite Lot during your arrival window (sent three days prior to the end of the session). Express pick-up parents will remain in the Satellite parking lot until they are reunited with their camper after Closing Ceremony. Camper luggage is transported to the parking lot, sorted, then organized by cabin number. Luggage staff is on hand to assist families with luggage. Face coverings are strongly suggested while interacting with Camp Ozark Staff, unless vaccinated. At the conclusion of the Closing Day ceremony, Express pick-up campers will have priority to ride the shuttle busses to the Satellite Lot. Once in the Satellite Lot, they will go through one last victory line before greeting their families.
All camper luggage will be transported to our Satellite Lot lot and placed in our cabin luggage depots. Please make sure and have your camper’s cabin number handy when arriving at the Satellite Lot. Luggage staff is on hand to assist families with luggage. Face coverings are strongly suggested while interacting with Camp Ozark Staff, unless vaccinated.
Follow the bus status via the Session Stream on the My Ozark dashboard or Camp Ozark Go App for any information regarding travel updates or delays. Please arrive to the pickup location 30 minutes before the estimated arrival time of your camper’s bus.
Luggage will be unloaded to a specific central location by Camp Ozark staff members. Parents and campers are asked to stand clear of this area and allow Camp Ozark staff to fully unload buses before claiming luggage. Excess items may be placed in a generic laundry bag for the trip home. Prior to departing the bus arrival location, please confirm with your camper that all luggage has been claimed. Face Coverings are strongly suggested while interacting with Camp Ozark Staff, unless vaccinated.
