JUNIOR STAFF QUICK FACTS

The Junior Staff program is designed for those graduating high school before Summer 2025. It is an opportunity to work alongside college students from all over the country before before starting college classes, gain valuable work and leadership experience, and be exposed to the premier Ozark leadership and excellence culture before you go to college or join the workforce. There are also opportunities for rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors to come and work designated sessions.

The full Junior Staff experience for graduating seniors is 2 sessions (4 weeks) and priority is given to those who are able to work two consecutive sessions. We do understand that there are vacations, college orientations, and other events that may be hinder Junior Staff from working 2 full sessions. For those only available to work one session, we ask that it be 5th session (July 18th – August 2nd). Other sessions may be an option based on availability.

Rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors are asked to work one full session but are able to work longer based on session availability.

All Junior Staff positions are paid positions. Junior Staff receive $150 per week and Camp Ozark provides free room and board for all staff (valued at $500 per session). Junior Staff working 5th session receive $250 per week.

For graduating high school seniors, camper eligibility is up to the discretion of the camper team. If you are a rising high school sophomore, junior, or senior and  eligible to be a camper in Summer 2025, you can apply to be a Junior Staff member in the same year, for a later session (5th session strongly encouraged).

The Junior Staff Program provides a unique opportunity to grow as a leader and learn the value of selfless service…all in an incomparable Christian environment. Our J-Staff work alongside 850+ college students from around the globe, developing skills, experiences, and connections that will serve them well in college and future careers.
