HELPFUL HINTS
- Eat prior to arrival or pack a lunch to eat en route to camp. Lunch is not served at camp on Opening Day.

- Make sure all belongings are labeled with your camper’s first and last name.
- Pack your swimsuit on top to make it easy to find for your swim test.
ARRIVE & CHECK-IN
We are excited to see you at Camp Ozark! Check-In for camp will take place in the Satellite Lot. In order to help reduce time spent waiting in vehicles, all campers arriving to camp via private auto receive an arrival window via the camper’s Travel Itinerary located on the My Ozark dashboard. Arrival windows will also be sent via text and email closer to Opening Day.
At check-in, campers will receive arrival screening, a name tag, cabin number, and a dashboard directional sign. At this time, you should turn in EpiPens, inhalers, and medicine prescribed within the last 7 days. No over the counter medications, vitamins, or supplements will be accepted on Opening Day of camp.
If you are not able to get out of your car on Opening Day (ie. catching a flight), you may request a drive through drop-off once you arrive in the Satellite Lot.
Our customer care team will be available at the drive-up Customer Service station at the BOP for any parents needing to speak to a Camp Ozark staff member more in depth about any special situations.
OPENING DAY MOTORCADE
Once check-in is complete, families will drive into the gates of Camp Ozark and be directed by staff to the appropriate unloading areas. Camp Ozark staff will greet families and unload luggage.
LUGGAGE
Once in the cabin designated unloading area, Camp Ozark staff will unload camper luggage from your car and assist your camper and their luggage to their cabin. Please make sure your luggage is labeled with the camper’s first and last name and that it is organized in the back of your vehicle for easy unloading. Camp Ozark staff will valet all vehicles.
SWIM TEST & SCHEDULE CHANGES
Counselors will help campers get settled into their cabin and accompany them to the swim test, make any morning activity schedule changes, and pick up any pre-orders from the Camp Ozark store. Parents are welcome to accompany campers throughout the entirety of the Opening Day procedures.

CHARTER BUS
On the Wednesday prior to Opening Day, you will receive a bus drop-off location arrival window. Once at the bus drop-off location, your camper will receive a bus assignment. Bus arrival drop-off windows and bus assignments are not correlated to camper cabin assignments. Camper will receive cabin assignments right before arrival at Camp Ozark.

Mount Ida And Hot Springs Lodging
Camp Ozark is located in a very scenic region of Arkansas, an area considered by many as a vacation destination. As such, there are plenty of lodging options in the surrounding area. Options range from very basic fishing cabins, to standard hotel rooms, to luxurious Bed and Breakfasts and Condos. The listings below are but a sample of the options available. Consult the Mt.
