Camp Ozark Activities

At Camp Ozark, we believe that for kids to have a meaningful experience, first of all, they must have FUN! ... plain and simple.

The Incomparable Camp Ozark program allows campers to participate in a wide variety of activities while still receiving specialized instruction in areas in which they are most interested. Activity Programs include "classes" during our weekday Morning Activities and our weekend Venture Experiences, as well as "structured free time" during Mish Mash every afternoon

Campers have the opportunity to choose activities they enjoy and spend portions of each day participating in those activities. 

MORNING ACTIVITIES
Morning Activities are primarily designed for campers to learn or improve upon a skill from one day to the next. Camp Ozark creates a personalized Morning Activity schedule for each camper. These personalized schedules are created using your camper's preferred activities, which are selected online prior to their arrival at Camp Ozark. Each scheduled Morning Activity generally meets once daily, Monday through Thursday, with a total of three activity periods each day.

Additionally, each camper goes to the Lake with their cabin once during the session. Our Lake program features experienced, qualified instructors, competition ski boats, Wakeboarding, Water Skiing, Tubing, Sailing, and the famous Ozark Water Weenie! Additional lake time is available for all campers on an optional basis.

MISH MASH
All areas of camp are staffed and open recreationally every afternoon during our camp-wide free time known as Mish Mash. Campers are able to participate in as many activities as they'd like. Qualified staff is assigned to supervise each activity, while those not assigned are free to take kids to different activities of the camper's choosing. Organized Tournaments and clinics are advertised and offered each Mash Mash, allowing campers to benefit from instruction in a specific area, as well as participate alone or with a group in structured play. Mish Mash is often referred to as the campers favorite time of day because all activities at Camp Ozark are open, with campers having the opportunity to do "whatever they want" at this time. Mish Mash lasts about 2 hours every day.

VENTURE EXPERIENCES
(Two and Three Week Sessions Only)
These special activities are only offered during the middle weekend of two and three week sessions. Campers select these Ventures based on their interests and have an opportunity to complete each Venture during a one or two hour period. Campers have the opportunity to participate in up to four Venture Experiences throughout the day.
