Operating Director for Camp Ozark
Ben initially joined the Ozone Ministries staff fulltime in 2012. After a brief stint in the corporate world that followed, he rejoined the Camp Ozark Permanent Staff in 2022. Ben now serves as the Director of Corporate Strategy and Business Development for Torn Family Camps. He also serves as an Operating Director for Camp Ozark.

BIO
A long-time Camp Ozark camper and Ozone student from Dallas, TX, Ben served as a counselor for three summers beginning in 2009. Then, after graduating with a degree in Finance & Marketing in 2012, he accepted a position as the Ozone Ministries Memorial (Houston) Area Director. During this time at Ozone, Ben worked with hundreds of middle and high school students and, in 2015, transitioned to the Camp Ozark staff recruiting team. In 2018, he briefly stepped away from Ozark, working in Dallas as a Director of Operations for a successful startup business…but still found time to sneak away to Arkansas for parts of the summers. Ben then returned to Camp Ozark as an Operating Director in 2022. He contributes to a variety of areas related to camp staff, operations, and strategic planning. Ben met his wife, Ali (Operating Director), at Camp Ozark in 2009. They were married in 2016 and have three children. Since Ben’s first camper summer in 2001 at age 11, his life and faith have been deeply impacted by his time at Camp Ozark. He is excited to watch his children grow up in the same loving, impactful environment he did, and is passionate about providing an incomparable place for all kids to be kids.
MET & MARRIED
Ben and Ali Monk met as counselors at Camp Ozark in the Small Gym during Staff Orientation in 2009. After years of friendship, they began dating in 2014 and were married in 2016 in Austin, TX, surrounded by their families and lifelong Camp Ozark friends. They currently live in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas, TX, and are parents to three beautiful children, who all love spending their summers at Camp Ozark.
