Hailing from New Albany, Mississippi, and a proud graduate of Mississippi State University, Haley first joined the Camp Ozark staff in 2010 as a cabin counselor. Over the next 4 years of university, Haley continued to spend her summers at Camp Ozark, serving as both a counselor and member of the Top Staff. While at Mississippi State, Haley began to develop a love for college students and student involvement through serving in various different organizations on campus. She served as an Alumni Delegate, on the Student Association Cabinet, Vice President of her sorority, and as Chief of Staff of the Student Association. After graduating from Mississippi State University in 2013 with a degree in Elementary Education, Haley joined the Camp Ozark permanent staff as an Assistant Director.
Now an Associate Director, Haley is a natural leader and very (very!) organized. Because of her ability to manage complex and logistically challenging endeavors, Haley has handled a wide variety of responsibilities over the years, such as overseeing Special Events and the Middle Weekend program. Haley now serves primarily in the Human Resources department where she acts as the summer staff Coordinator and oversees all summer staff recruiting. Additionally, she serves as the Travel Coordinator, manages Opening and Closing Day logistics, and oversees the overall summer staff experience. As a person who has served in multiple roles at Camp Ozark, Haley’s wealth of knowledge, expertise, and passion make her an invaluable part of the Camp Ozark leadership.
After meeting at Camp Ozark Staff Orientation in 2012, Haley married her husband, Connor, in 2018. They have a two year old daughter named Ann Clark. Extremely competitive by nature, she is a huge sports fan, specifically anything relating to her beloved Mississippi State Bulldogs. If the ‘Dawgs are involved, past or present, Haley is tuned in. She truly bleeds Maroon & White! In her spare time, Haley enjoys an afternoon on the golf course, spending time with her family, and hanging out with her yellow lab, Callie.
One of Haley’s favorite things about her role at Camp Ozark is her involvement in assembling the Incomparable Ozark Summer Staff. She loves the unique opportunity to meet hundreds of college students from around the country and share her passion for Camp Ozark. She enjoys, and takes pride in the fact, that this allows her to play a major role in building the best experience possible for the campers.
