Katie was born and raised in Conroe, TX. After graduating from Texas A&M University, Katie joined an educational marketing firm, bringing college marketing students real world client problems to solve. At the recommendation of a lifelong friend, Katie accepted her first position at Camp Ozark in 2007 as the Executive Assistant to Sam and Susan Torn. Since then, Katie has served the organization through a variety of roles, such as retail management, human resources assistance, administration management, customer service, camper marketing, and professional project management. Katie currently oversees all of Camp Ozark’s marketing, customer communication, and development projects. During Katie’s first summer at Ozark, she met Patrick (Senior Operating Director), who she later married in 2010. Katie and Patrick welcomed their son, Bhrett, in 2012. They live in the Memorial area of Houston where Katie can be found on the sideline as the team mom for a variety of SBMSA sports.
